Disney Channel will give viewers another opportunity to participate in its dance competition Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off. Kids and tweens will submit videos of their dance routines to the network's website, and one grand prize winner will get to perform in an episode of Disney's hit series Shake It Up.
Viewers can now visit the official site to watch instructional dance videos hosted by Shake It Up choreographer Rosero McCoy. Kids age 8 to 16 can then submit dance videos (up to 45 seconds long, with a maximum of five dancers) to the site beginning June 29. Disney's Club Penguin virtual world also included a Make Your Mark party event from July 19 through Aug 1, where Rocky and CeCe along with Club Penguin's DJ Cadence (also known as DJ K-Dance) and the Penguin band hosted the party with Cadence's song: The Party Starts Now.
Finalists will be announced in September, and will then perform in front of celebrity judges on Make Your Mark: Shake It Up Dance Off, set to air in October.
