Brenda appeared in the episode "Meatball It Up" as the waitress from the Olive Pit. She also appeared in "Beam It Up" and "Merry Merry It Up", where she was the waitress from Crusty's Pizza Parlor, thus indicating that she switched jobs. This was due to the Olive Pit getting shut down after someone almost died from trying to eat one of the giant meatballs. She appears again in the episode "Future It Up". She is portrayed by Jodi Taffel.

Marco is the DJ on Shake It Up, Chicago!. His first appearance was in "Meatball It Up". He is usually seen in the DJ booth above the Shake It Up, Chicago! stage during rehearsals and live shows, and has been seen to also be a good dancer. He has also appeared in Meatball It Up, Glitz It Up, Reunion It Up, Model It Up, Break It Up, Auction It Up, Copy Kat It Up, Egg It Up, and Rock and Roll It Up. He is portrayed by Adrian Elizondo.

Ms. Burke[]

The librarian

Ms. Burke is the librarian at John Hughes High School. She appeared for the first time in the episode "Parent Trap It Up" while CeCe and Rocky were hatching a plan to get CeCe's parents back together. She appeared a second time in "My Fair Librarian It Up", when she asked Cece and Rocky for advice on how to win over the poetry teacher, who she had a crush on. Miss Burke is a hopeless romantic, excited about the prospect of love and inserting herself into the girls' conversation. It was her idea to recreate the Jones' Bollywood date, handing CeCe and Rocky a book on Indian culture. She’s very strict about no talking in the library, shushing the students, but when she herself was shushed for being loud, she snapped back at them. When Miss. Burke gets bored she draws rings on both of her ring fingers, pretending that they are engagement rings. She dresses in frumpy clothing and has poorly done makeup with many pencils in her hair to hold up her bouffant. Rocky told her that if she changed her clothes and did her makeup differently, she would look like a model. Miss Burke then proceeded to be bashful and flattered, then proceeded to pose and exited while doing a model walk. She’s portrayed by special guest star, Tyra Banks.

Eddie is a dancer on Shake It Up, Chicago! that appeared in "Hook It Up". He is in the "Wild Things", the lead dancers on the show, and was leading the routine during rehearsal. CeCe and Rocky came up to him and wanted to know who to talk to about them always being in the background. He seemed to be annoyed by them the whole time, telling them that they are just background dancers and are called the "Rear Ends". It is revealed that the lead dancers get dressing rooms and background dancers get hooks. In the end during the live performance,Rocky and CeCe were lead dancers forced to make Eddie and the rest of "Wild Things" background dancers. He also appeared in "Meatball It Up". He is portrayed by Max Ehrich.

According to Rocky, she booked a commercial with another dancer, Jenna, for Terry's Tacos and was absent from the show that week. CeCe and Rocky were in awe of his dancing, saying that he was a "dancing jellyfish". He also appeared in "Start It Up", "Add It Up", "Party It Up", and "Hook It Up". He is portrayed by Duncan Tran.

Kent[]

Kent is a dancer on Shake It Up, Chicago!. He first appeared in the episode "Kick It Up" as the mystery guest for the spotlight dance. He then appeared in the Bring the Fire number in "Shake It Up, Up & Away". He appeared again in "Reality Check It Up" at Rocky and CeCe's party for the viewing of True Teen Life, which he was also featured on. He was insulted and left the party because of Rocky, who was caught by the camera saying that Kent wouldn't get the Spotlight Dance because he couldn't dance. Kent went to leave and urged Sheila to come along, and Rocky tried to explain herself by saying they edited the reason behind Kent not being able to dance, which was because he twisted his ankle. He was one of the dancers featured in the Total Access performance, as the farmer in the "American Gothic" painting. He also appeared as an American Jukebox dancer in "Rock and Roll It Up". He is portrayed by So You Think You Can Dance Season 7 runner-up, Kent Boyd.

Sheila[]

Sheila is a dancer on Shake It Up, Chicago! who was at Rocky and CeCe's party for the viewing of True Teen Life, which Sheila was also featured on. She was insulted and left the party because of Rocky, who was caught by the camera saying that there was no way Sheila would get the Spotlight Dance. As Sheila went to leave along with Kent, Rocky tried to explain herself by saying they edited the reason behind Sheila not being able to dance, which was because she was going to her sister's wedding in Cincinnati before Sheila slammed the door in her face. She was one of the dancers featured in the Total Access performance, as a statue. She appeared in "Reality Check It Up" and is portrayed by Alex Welch of the Beat Freaks.

Adam is a stage manager on Shake It Up, Chicago!. He appeared in "Start It Up", warning the dancers & crew that they had two minutes before they were on the air. It seems that the show has multiple stage managers, as he was never seen after "Start It Up". He is portrayed by Matthew Scott Montgomery from So Random, and from one episode of Austin and Ally.

Announcer[]

The Announcer is the host of the show Teen Court, where CeCe and Rocky brought Gunther and Tinka after they refused to pay the girls for performing at Klaus' birthday party in "Judge It Up". He and Judge Marsha seem to be dating. He is portrayed by William Ragsdale.

Baba Pushki[]

Baba Pushki is Gunther and Tinka's grandmother. She appaeared in "Vatalihootsit It Up", sitting in a chair and playing a wind instrument as the other Hessenheffers sang "It's Vatalihootsit Day" to Rocky and CeCe. It is unknown if she is Gunther and Tinka's maternal or paternal grandmother. She is portrayed by Beverly Polcyn.

Carl[]

Carl is a crossing guard who appeared in "Weird It Up". He escorted Flynn home twice after CeCe forgot to pick him up from school both times. The second time, Flynn apologizes for Carl missing his yogalates class (yoga and pilates). The actor that portrays him is unknown.

Dave Gold[]

Dave Gold is a record producer that appeared in "Copy Kat It Up". He is said, by Ty, to be the "best record producer in Chicago." His son, Mike, is friends with Flynn at school and Dave was first seen picking him up from the Jones' apartment. He lives in a house with a bowling alley and an indoor pool, and owns a speedboat and a helicopter. Ty asks Flynn to help him get Dave to listen to his music. After a meeting at Crusty's, Dave offers Ty a chance to record a demo in a real recording studio. Upon arrival, it is revealed that he wants Ty to do "kid rap" to appeal to kids aged 4-9. The song he gave Ty was a song about tying shoelaces. After Ty quit, Flynn stepped in and recorded the song, entitled "Lace It Up!" with Dave and getting a music video. The song also reached #1 on the kids chart. He is portrayed by Jay Thomas.

Destiny[]

Destiny in "Hook It Up".

Destiny appears as Flynn's crush in "Hook It Up". Flynn asked for Ty's advice on talking to Destiny. He then uses the advice, which works to his advantage, until Ty interrupts them by trying to get Destiny to himself. Flynn breaks it up by doing a dance and pretending that he had twisted his ankle, which results in Destiny carrying him upstairs. Then he says to Ty, "See ya later, sucker!" Destiny seems to be very nice and kind, but gets annoyed when Flynn hits on her continuously.

Fan Girl[]

The girl is an unnamed character that appeared in "Copy Kat It Up" as a fan who showed up to the Shake It Up, Chicago! set after Kat announced that she was leaving for New York. The girl acted the same way Kat initially did both in appearance and by complimenting the girls, asking if she could carry their bags. Upon being reminded of Kat and how it turned out for them, Rocky and CeCe rejected her and left. She is portrayed by Leah Bateman (credited as Leah Batman).

Gloria de Leon[]

Gloria de Leon is an exchange student at John Hughes High School that only speaks Spanish. She appeared in "Weird It Up" and was asked out by Ty, through Deuce. There is a language barrier between her and Ty so he asks Deuce to come along on the date to be the translator. On the date at Crusty's, however, it turns out that she likes Deuce and not Ty. Ty thinks she is perfect for him. Deuce does not tell Ty what Gloria said about Ty not being her type; instead he lies to Ty about Gloria wanting him to meet her entire family and getting a promise ring from him, hoping that she comes off as being clingy, which Ty hates. Ty replies with "adios" and leaves her with Deuce. Gloria then scoots closer to Deuce and tries to kiss him, but Deuce jumps up and fends her off with his chair. She is portrayed by Denyse Tontz.

Guard[]

The Guard is seen in the episode "Review It Up", where he is the security guard at the building where Andy Burns works. Rocky and CeCe encounter him numerous times throughout the episode as they try to get to Andy Burns. The girls disguise themselves as coffee cart vendors and he is fooled, asking them for a macchiato. He is portrayed by Noel Arthur.

Hank O'Hara[]

Hank O'Hara is the host of the game show "Let's Get Weird" in "Weird It Up". He is miserable in his line of work, because he says he's been lied to ("Oh Hank, you're so talented. Oh Hank, you're so good-looking. Oh Hank, you're gonna be bigger than Tom Cruise!"). Rocky says he's taller than Tom Cruise, to which he jealously replies "not when he stands on his pile of fame and money!" He tells Rocky and CeCe that if they need him, he'll be "the guy with the dead look in his eyes." When the cameras roll, he is an enthusiastic game show host. He is portrayed by David Shatraw.

Howard[]

Howard is a student at John Hughes High School and has appeared in "Sweat It Up". He is part of a group that CeCe referred to as the "Nerd Herd", and invited Rocky to join them in a laser tag tournament. Rocky declined, not wanting to be associated with them, even though she is an honors student as well. She lied to him, saying that she had to have her appendix removed. He calls Rocky "Rockeroni" and dresses and speaks in stereotypical nerd fashion. He is portrayed by Zayne Emory.

Ira Frumkin[]

Ira Frumkin is an agent that CeCe hired to boost up her and Rocky's careers in "Weird It Up". He is an "agent to the stars" according to CeCe. He first meets them at Crusty's (after mistaking two other girls for them) and informs them that he booked them a spot on an American version of a Japanese game show, "Let's Get Weird". Rocky is against having an agent at first, but eventually accepts and agrees to go on the show with CeCe. Ira often repeats lines to his clients, telling them that they have "star power" and "it". It turns out that he booked them as the "Weirdettes", the ones who get punished if the contestant gets an answer wrong. Flynn also hired him as his agent and got onto the same game show as the contestant. Ira was fired by the end of the episode. He is portrayed by Jerry Sroka.

Jessy[]

Jessy is a student that was seen in the halls of John Hughes High School with Rocky in "Egg It Up". Rocky picked Jessy to be her partner for the science project behind CeCe's back. When Rocky was talking to her about the project, she was told to "run and deny everything" and made a break for it when CeCe was coming towards them. The actress that portrays her is Victoria Nickell.

Joshua[]

Joshua is a student at John Hughes High School. He appeared in "Hook It Up" and is a part of the "cool kids" crew. He goes up to CeCe and Rocky in the halls and invites them to sit with them at lunch that day after saying he saw them on Shake It Up, Chicago!. CeCe accepts but Rocky declines their offer, saying that they only used to look at them when they wanted to copy their homework. He asks, "what about tomorrow?" and Rocky replies, "oh, we're definitely free tomorrow." He is portrayed by Jordan Nichols.

Judge Marsha[]

Judge Marsha Sanders is the judge on the show Teen Court, where Rocky and CeCe brought Gunther and Tinka after they refused to pay the girls for performing at Klaus' birthday party in "Judge It Up". She speaks in metaphors which no one understands, except for Deuce. She seems to be dating the Announcer. She is portrayed by Loretta Devine.

Kelly[]

Kelly is a director that appeared in "Vatalihootsit It Up". He was casting for a juice commercial that Ty auditioned for and didn't make. During the auditions, Flynn told him off for not casting Ty and Kelly insisted that Flynn be in his commercial. It turns out that Flynn was chosen for a different commercial; for Action Pants. He is portrayed by Tony O'Dell.

Linda Lazo[]

Linda Lazo is a girl in Flynn's class that Gunther and Ty write about for Flynn's essay on heroes in "Egg It Up". The essay claims she's the prettiest girl in school. Flynn read the essay in front of the class and when he came to the part about him liking Linda, she looked up and looked flattered, and is smiling while playing with her hair. She is portrayed by Siena Rose O'Regan.

Mike Gold[]

Mike Gold is Flynn's schoolmate and appeared in "Copy Kat It Up". He is seen with his dad, record producer Dave Gold, at the Jones' apartment after hanging out with Flynn. Mike lives in a house with a bowling alley and an indoor pool, which Flynn claims he "had no idea" about. Flynn says he is his glad that Mike is his new best friend. His dad picked him up in a helicopter that was parked on the roof. Flynn said he was the "biggest booger producer in the 4th grade." The actor that portrays him is unknown.

Mrs. Lee[]

Mrs. Lee is the Jones' neighbor and appeared in the episode "Sweat It Up". She hired Ty, Flynn, and Deuce to watch her dog, Bitsy, for the day. She is portrayed by Wendy Worthington.

Ms. Andrews[]

Ms. Andrews is Flynn's teacher at Jackson Elementary School. She appeared in the episode "Egg It Up". She loved Flynn's hero essay so much that she asked him to come up in front of the entire class and read it out loud, being touched by the essay while the rest of the class laughed at him. Ms. Andrews was oblivious to Gunther and Ty laughing at Flynn from outside her classroom. She is portrayed by Ursula Burton.

Napoleon Fontaine[]

Napoleon Fontaine is "the legendary editor of Glam Magazine," as described by CeCe in "Model It Up". He visits the Shake It Up, Chicago! set and offers Rocky an opportunity to take part in a photoshoot, and later signs her up to be a model in New York. He has worked with Kate Moss, and models like "Cindy, Iman, Linda and Gisele" (possibly Crawford, Evangelista, and Bundchen). He thinks CeCe is beautiful, but it is all about being unique and striking, qualities that he sees in Rocky. He accepts that CeCe is a part of the photoshoot, but as a background model in less-than-glamorous clothing. He is portrayed by Philip Anthony-Rodriguez.

Phil Stuts[]

Phil Stuts is a banker at the Chicago Savings Bank who opened up CeCe and Rocky's bank accounts in the episode "Meatball It Up". He was very excited to have CeCe and Rocky as his customers, giving them several gifts including desk calenders and mouse pads. However, when CeCe and Rocky overdrew their accounts, Phil became very angry and unfriendly. He said they were no longer friends/BFF's until they put more money in their accounts and that he wanted his mouse pad back. He is portrayed by Jack Plotnick.

Raina Kumar[]

Raina Kumar is a girl that goes to "John Hughes High School" who fell in love with Deuce because of the "girlfriend phenomenon" and flirts with Deuce due to this. But when Deuce breaks up with Dina so he can go out with other girls, she loses interest in him as he is a jerk and because of the phenomenon.She is portayed by Kira Kosarin

Ricky Nestor[]

Ricky Nestor was in "Kick It Up" as Rocky's date to the movies. He went on a double date with her, along with Deuce and his sister, Teresa. It was his first date. During the movie, CeCe showed up and it was revealed that he is allergic to peanuts after CeCe poured a generous amount into the popcorn bowl. He is portrayed by Michael Grant.

Ricky Z is a radio host for the station WADX who briefly appears in "Match It Up". She runs the contest held at the mall that gives contestants a chance to win $10,000. Deuce is one of the contestants competing. She is portrayed by Radio Disney DJ, Hallie Ashford.

Sarah was in the episode "Hot Mess It Up". She was trying to get the part of the screaming girl in the boys' zombie music video in their web-show, "Zombie Idol". She gets the part and also becomes a zombie later on the music video. She has blond hair and is about average height. Not to be confused with Sarah from "Review It Up". She is portrayed by Evie Thompson.

Sarah was in the episode "Review It Up" as Andy Burns' girlfriend and now fiancée. She is shown to be very talkative, which appears to annoy Andy. She was accidentally proposed to after she found the ring that Deuce had got for Dina in her pizza. The ring was not as big as she hoped, but accepted even after Andy suggested that they wait. Deuce does not try to get the ring back, saying that it is the "last ring she's ever gonna get." She seems to wear the pants in the relationship. Not to be confused with Sarah from "Hot Mess It Up". She is portrayed by Alex McKenna.

Sensei Ira[]

Sensei Ira is a karate instructor who appeared in the episode "Kick It Up" where he taught Rocky, CeCe, Flynn, and Henry karate. He has a black belt and is shown to be quite money-hungry, always making sure that his students pay before entering his class. He is portrayed by Fred Stoller.

Sid[]

Sid is a producer on Shake It Up, Chicago!. He can be seen throughout "Hook It Up". He was discussing getting rid of two people because they "couldn't afford this many people", to which Gary replied "last hired, first fired," leading Deuce to believe that they were going to let Rocky and CeCe go. He was being followed by Gary while the host complained about a dirty dressing room and calling him "Cyd". He replies, annoyed, telling Gary that his name is "Sid". He is portaryed by John Maynard.

Tasha Brooks is Ty's date in "Meatball It Up". Ty brought her to lunch at The Olive Pit where she ordered the Veil Parmesan for her mother. She was shown to be somewhat dim-witted for thinking the word "parmesan" was pronounced "PAR-MEE-ZEE-ON". By the end of the date, Tasha was furious with Ty for taking her to a roach-infested restaurant. She is portrayed by Sophia Taylor Ali.

Teresa Nestor[]

Teresa Nestor is Deuce's date in "Kick It Up". She has an older brother named Ricky, who was Rocky's date. Deuce invited Rocky to go on a double date with him and Teresa. During the date, Teresa left with her brother after CeCe disrupted their date. Deuce went after her, but she rejected him and dumped a bucket of popcorn on his head. Deuce brought her to the movies again to make up for their failed date and sat somewhere else when they saw CeCe again. The actress who portrays her is unknown.

"Pretty Spanish Girl"[]

She is an unnamed character that appeared in "Egg It Up". Ty was seen checking her out while ignoring Flynn's story when they were at Crusty's. Ty also invited her over to sit with him and carried Flynn off to another seat away from their table so she could take his spot.Flynn scractily says she is Miss Teen USA. The things Ty did with her prompted Flynn to fire Ty as his babysitter and hire Gunther. She is portrayed by Stephoney Dauz.

Bobchka[]

Bobchka is Tinka and Gunther's cousin who was mentioned in "Hot Mess It Up". He e-mailed Rocky and CeCe's webcast, You're a Hot Mess and We're Not!, using the username "LonelyBoy". The two mistook him for Gunther, which led to CeCe being forced to ask Gunther to the school dance. He is Grinkle's twin brother.

Cathy[]

Cathy is the ex-fiance of CeCe and Flynn's father, J.J. Jones, who was mentioned in "Parent Trap It Up". She lives in Florida, like J.J. CeCe and Rocky discovered an engagement ring in his jacket and thought that he was going to re-propose to Georgia. By the end of the episode, J.J. reveals that he is going to ask Cathy to marry him, which would make her CeCe and Flynn's future step-mother. His ex-wife and children are very supportive of his relationship with Cathy (CeCe: "She's really great, Rocky." / Flynn: "Yeah, she likes baseball, chili burgers, and 3D alien movies. If dad wasn't marrying her, I might have to.") It was revealed in "I Do It Up" that she was engaged to J.J. until she left for a guy who lived down the street from them.

Grandpa Blue[]

Grandpa Blue is the father of Curtis Blue who was mentioned in "Doctor It Up". He was idenified as a doctor as mentioned by Curtis when he and Ty were arguing about the latter wanting to become a rapper.

Grinkle[]

Grinkle is Tinka and Gunther's cousin mentioned in "Hot Mess It Up". She emailed Rocky and CeCe's webcast, You're a Hot Mess and We're Not!, using the username "GlitterGirl". The two mistook her for Tinka. She is Bobchka's twin sister.

King Brustrum[]

King Brustrum is Gunther and Tinka's maternal grandfather and the father of Squitza Hessenheffer mentioned in "Vatalihootsit It Up". He was the king of their unnamed country and was opposed to the marriage between his daughter and commoner, Kashlack Hessenheffer. Back in the old country, the two met at Kashlack's butcher shop and fell in love. They were soon engaged to be married but King Brustrum found out and forbid the marriage, making Squitza choose between being a queen or true love. It is unknown if he still reigns as king.

Ms. Rubenstein is a teacher at John Hughes High School. She is CeCe's science teacher as of the episode "Sweat It Up". She is mentioned during an exchange between Rocky and CeCe when the latter informs her friend that her mom is dating their gym teacher (CeCe: "Whatever, all I know is now that Coach is dating my mom, I won't have to break a sweat for the next four years! ...If only I could get her to date my science teacher." / Rocky: "Ms. Rubenstein?"). She is mentioned again after Georgia declares that it didn't work between her and Coach Lesseur. (CeCe: "Give him another chance!
